The 18-second overview · the whole idea, animated
A narrated, captioned mockup of the core loop. The cursor opens Pricing Lab from the Chrome toolbar and runs a Compare search: 15 nearby listings read, filtered to 7 direct competitors (same make and model). The local median comes back at $174 against the host’s $137 — 21% below, with only 2 of 7 cheaper. One more click applies $183/day (the median +5%) to the next 7 days. Eighteen seconds from “am I priced right?” to an updated calendar.
Demo 1 · Compare: where your price sits in your local market
The first recording starts in the Compare tab: pick a vehicle, type a city, and the extension runs a Turo search for the same make and model nearby in the background. It reads the visible results and reports the local median daily price, the low–high range, and where the host’s rate ranks among direct competitors: the one-line answer to “am I too cheap, or pricing myself out?” From there the host can hold, raise toward the median, or trim, with data behind the decision.
Demo 2 · Scan the calendar and fix the week in one click
The recording opens on a host calendar. Clicking the Pricing Lab icon runs a calendar scan: every upcoming day is listed with its current price, whether the host or Turo’s dynamic pricing set it, and its booked status. Days sitting below the host’s weekend floor are flagged below floor in red. The guardrail panel then shows the rule that produced the suggested price (dynamic price plus the host’s markup, never below the floor), and the net line converts it to what the host would keep after their earnings-plan share. Finally, “Apply next 7 days” previews every change (current price → new price, with the reason), and one approved click writes the new prices into Turo’s own calendar. Nothing saves before that click.
