$ Pricing Lab for Turo hosts

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 6, 2026

By installing or using Pricing Lab you agree to these terms, which are a contract between you and Pricing Lab (McKinney, Texas). They are written to be readable. If anything is unclear, ask us at turopricinglab@gmail.com rather than guessing.

1. What this is

Pricing Lab is a Chrome extension for Turo hosts. It reads what Turo shows in your own browser, compares your price with similar cars, suggests prices by rules you set, and, only when you start it and approve each change on the Turo page, fills those prices into your own Turo calendar. The Privacy Policy explains what it reads and what leaves your device.

What it is not:

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. If you use Pricing Lab for a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these terms.

3. Your Turo account

You use Pricing Lab on your own Turo account and remain responsible for it, including following Turo’s own terms and policies. Pricing Lab never asks for your Turo password and never reads your cookies.

Every price you apply is a price you approved. The extension shows the current and new value before anything is entered. Check the change on the confirmation card, and check your calendar on Turo afterwards. Turo is the authority on what your listing actually charges.

Turo can change its website at any time. When it does, features may stop working or read a page incorrectly until we update the extension. We are not responsible for Turo’s site, its prices, its fees, or anything Turo does with your account.

4. Accuracy

Competitor prices are what Turo showed in your browser when you looked, and can be incomplete, out of date, or not comparable to your car. Fee, earnings-plan and net-take figures are estimates from Turo’s published rules as we understand them, and Turo’s statements may differ. Suggested prices are produced by software from the rules and data you give it, and the extension always shows which rule produced each one. AI assistant answers are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. Treat all of it as a starting point, not a guarantee.

5. Free and Pro

The free plan costs nothing and needs no account. Pro is an optional paid subscription. Current prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing section and in the extension. We may change what the free plan includes.

Price and renewal. Pro costs $6 per month or $60 per year. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, charged to the payment method you gave at checkout, until you cancel. Any sales tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.

Cancelling. Cancel at any time from the Manage button in the extension, which opens the billing page where you subscribed. Cancelling stops future charges. Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for. You don’t need to contact us to cancel.

30-day money-back guarantee. If you ask within 30 days of your first Pro payment, or within 30 days of an annual renewal charge, we refund that payment in full. No reason needed. Email turopricinglab@gmail.com from the address you used at checkout, or use the contact form and choose “Billing or Pro”. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Outside those windows, charges already made are not refunded, except where the law where you live says otherwise.

Your price. If we raise Pro’s price, the increase applies to new subscriptions only. The price you start at stays your price for as long as that subscription stays active. A founding-host promotion code (for example, FOUNDER48) applies to every renewal for as long as that subscription stays active, and only under the limits printed with the offer.

Payments are handled by ExtensionPay, a third-party billing service, and processed by Stripe, Inc. We never receive or store your card number.

If we stop offering Pro, we will tell subscribers first and refund the unused part of any annual subscription.

6. Using the extension

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pricing Lab for your own hosting business while you follow these terms. Third-party components inside the extension stay under their own licenses.

Do not:

7. Third-party services

Pricing Lab works alongside services we don’t control: Turo; Google’s Chrome Web Store; ExtensionPay and Stripe for billing; Anthropic for the AI model behind the assistant; Vercel and Upstash for our servers; and Resend for email. Your use of what they provide is also governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their acts, outages, or changes.

8. Ending it

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the extension, which removes everything it stored on your device. Uninstalling does not cancel a Pro subscription; cancel it from Manage first, or ask us to. We may suspend Pro or the AI assistant for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service at risk, and will tell you why where we can. We may also discontinue Pricing Lab, with notice to Pro subscribers as section 5 describes.

9. Warranties and liability

Pricing Lab is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To that same extent, our total liability for all claims relating to Pricing Lab is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) US$100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, bookings, revenue, or data, including losses from prices you set or approved using Pricing Lab, or from anything Turo does.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because you broke these terms, misused Pricing Lab, or used it on a Turo account you were not authorized to manage, you will cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, including reasonable legal fees. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in defending it.

11. Disputes

Talk to us first. Before either of us starts a claim, the one bringing it sends the other a written notice describing it and the relief wanted, and gives the other 30 days to resolve it informally. Send yours to turopricinglab@gmail.com with “Legal notice” in the subject. Deadlines for bringing a claim are paused during those 30 days.

Governing law and courts. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies. This does not take away any right you have to sue where you live if the law there gives you one.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes with every update, and material changes are noted in the changelog. We will email Pro subscribers about a material change before it takes effect. Continuing to use Pricing Lab after a change takes effect means you accept it. A change never applies to a dispute either of us gave notice of before the change.

13. General

Assignment. We may transfer these terms to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the business, and the successor is bound by them and by the Privacy Policy. You may not transfer them without our written consent.

Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it is enforced to the extent it can be and the rest stays in effect.

Entire agreement. These terms, with the pricing shown at checkout and the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Pricing Lab.

No waiver. If we don’t enforce part of these terms at one time, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.

Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including changes or outages at Turo, Google, ExtensionPay, Stripe, Anthropic, our hosting providers, or the internet.

14. Notices and contact

We send notices to the email address you gave at checkout or signup, and a notice is given when it is sent. Send legal notices to turopricinglab@gmail.com with “Legal notice” in the subject. If you need a postal address for service, ask there and we will provide one.
