What to charge for Turo delivery at DFW and Love Field
From McKinney, DFW is an hour each way, and the share you keep moves with the booking date.
Short answer: On a Dallas trip booked on or after October 8, 2026, you keep the delivery fee at that trip's host-share band, so a worked $80 drive needs a $95 fee a day out on More earnings and $80 when that plan pays 100 percent, before parking. DFW's parking deduction is unpublished, and Love Field is a different drive billed at the garage, so each airport gets its own fee.
I host out of McKinney. DFW is about an hour each way from here, before a flight runs late. Love Field is a separate airport and a separate parking bill.
Miles, time, and tolls are in how much you should charge for Turo delivery. That post divides by 0.9. On a Dallas trip booked on or after October 8, 2026, divide by the band below. I have not published a delivery fee, on the Corvette or on any other car.
Dallas pays the delivery fee at the trip's band
Turo's earnings and host share page applies host share, in the US and Canada, to the trip price and to the delivery fee. You keep the percentage on the car's earnings plan. Where the trip has a variable share, you keep that share of the delivery fee. Australia and the UK are the countries that page still pays at 90 percent of the delivery price.
The variable-share table covers the trip price, additional distance, additional usage, and late return fees. Delivery is the next section, and it names the variable share on the trip. Dallas is on the table with Austin, Detroit, Las Vegas, Maui, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, and Seattle.
Turo's article on how vehicle delivery works dates the US and Canada rule to trips booked on or after October 8, 2026. The earnings page was last updated October 19, 2026. For a booking made before October 8, read that trip's receipt. The October 6 post on this site still uses a flat 90 percent. A Dallas booking made now follows the band.
The share locks at booking. Editing the fee the next morning leaves that trip alone. Check the receipt.
| Days in advance | More peace of mind | Balanced | More earnings |
|---|---|---|---|
| 28+ | 80% | 90% | 100% |
| 14–27 | 75% | 85% | 95% |
| 3–13 | 70% | 80% | 90% |
| 0–2 | 65% | 75% | 85% |
I run the higher earnings plan. Booked 28 or more days out, I keep the whole delivery fee. Booked tomorrow, I keep 85 percent. Same drive.
DFW charges a parking fee the article does not print
Turo's DFW host article, last updated May 29, 2026, allows the Peer-to-Peer Turo Lot at 2424 E. 38th St. Guests take the purple Rental Car Center shuttle. Park no earlier than six hours before the start, and only for a trip that starts inside that window, or a return from a trip that ended inside the last six. From McKinney, a morning flight is still a same-morning drive.
If the lot is full, overflow is Remote South at 2400 South Airfield Dr., and the guest takes the yellow shuttle. Take no ticket there. The gate opens for Turo cars, and Turo will not reimburse a ticket you pulled. Curbside is prohibited. The plate has to match the listing and stay readable.
DFW charges hosts for parking at both lots, entry and exit, at the start and at the end. Turo deducts it from earnings, and the article bars asking the guest to pay it back. No dollar is printed. Add both deductions from a past receipt to the drive, then divide by the band. With no receipt, leave DFW off. The first trip would be short by a number the page does not give you.
Airport fines on that page are $100, then $250, then $500. Turo's violation-fees page takes another $100 for a parking violation or $250 for a prohibited activity, on top of the airport fine. Check the capacity link in the DFW article before you leave, and send it to the guest for the return.
Love Field is three garages and a different drive
Turo's Love Field host article, last updated February 18, 2026, allows Garage A, Garage B, and Garage C. Curbside is prohibited. Hosts pay the parking. If the garage bills hourly, you pay the time before the scheduled start, one hour minimum. If it bills a daily rate, you pay a full day at drop-off and a full day at pickup. The article does not say whether those garages bill hourly or by the day, and it prints no rate. Read the board and the exit receipt. On Turo's airport list, updated November 1, 2026, neither airport has the asterisk used for the June 23 parking guidelines.
A first Love Field violation is a warning and a possible airport fine. A second is the same. A third suspends you from delivering to DAL. DFW's $100, $250, and $500 airport fines stay on the DFW article. Turo's $100 parking fee and $250 prohibited-activity fee come off earnings at both.
Time Love Field from your own house, at the hour you would leave. The hour I use is McKinney to DFW. I have not published a Love Field time. Hail, tolls, and the wider market are in hosting on Turo in Dallas–Fort Worth.
A worked $80 drive, parking left off
This is a worked example. It is not a trip from my cars, and $80 is not a fee I have set. The $80 stands in for fuel, wear, tolls, and two hours, before parking. Use your own total. The IRS business mileage rate for July 1 through December 31, 2026 is 76 cents, a stand-in for the car. Divide your total by the band, and skip the 0.9 in the other post.
| Booked ahead | Plan | Share | Fee | You keep |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 days (28+ band) | More earnings | 100% | $80 | $80.00 |
| 10 days (3–13 band) | More earnings | 90% | $89 | $80.10 |
| 1 day (0–2 band) | More earnings | 85% | $95 | $80.75 |
| 1 day (0–2 band) | Balanced | 75% | $107 | $80.25 |
The fee in the table is the smallest whole dollar that still clears $80. At 90 percent, $88 keeps $79.20, so ten days out is $89. At 85 percent, $94 keeps $79.90, so a day out on More earnings is $95. At 75 percent, $106 keeps $79.50, so Balanced a day out is $107. More peace of mind a day out pays 65 percent: $123 keeps $79.95, so the fee is $124. More earnings at 14–27 days pays 95 percent: $84 keeps $79.80, so the fee is $85.
Parking sits on top of the $80. At DFW it is the receipt deduction at the start and the one at the end. At Love Field it is the garage cost that article assigns to the host. Add those dollars to the $80, then divide by the same band. A $95 fee clears this example only when parking is zero.
The airport permit fee is a guest checkout line. Both guest articles say Turo remits a fee it does not set, mark up, or keep. Guests pay it in most cases. Some airports are exceptions, and the dollar differs by airport. Read the quote. Leave it out of your fee and out of the $80.
Set each airport, then check the day
Open Vehicles, then Settings, then Locations, and use the pencil on that car. Each airport has its own fee, capped at that location's maximum. The delivery article prints no national cap. If the maximum is under your number, remove the airport. The same article bars a charge for delivery fuel, a reimbursement for the parking you paid to retrieve the car, and any of that money collected off Turo.
Price the day with the delivery dollars left out. A booked day under the floor still makes the month worse when the guest also paid you to drive. How to build that floor is in how much you should charge on Turo. The calculator applies your earnings plan to the daily rate, including the Dallas bands, and does not price this fee. On the receipt, the delivery line should match the band.
A car out several times a week can carry the hour. A weekend sports car usually can't. On the C8, Friday and Saturday sit above Sunday through Thursday, and a Sunday-night run sits on a day I priced lower on purpose. I have not published a delivery setting for that car. My comparison set is north Dallas, Collin County, and airport-delivery listings.
US hosts get third-party liability coverage on the check-in delivery. The drive back sits outside that window. I keep a reserve for damage on trips, and the fee still has to pay for both drives.
Time each airport on its own morning. Add parking you can document, then divide by the band that booking would get. Remove the airport if the screen's maximum is lower. Raise any day that sits under the floor once delivery is left out of the rate.

Pricing Lab is built by a Turo host and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Turo Inc. Pages read November 3, 2026: earnings and host share (updated October 19, 2026), how vehicle delivery works (updated October 19, 2026; US and Canada delivery share on trips booked on or after October 8, 2026), the DFW and Love Field host articles linked above, airports with delivery permits (updated November 1, 2026), violation fees (updated June 4, 2026), and the DFW and Love Field guest articles. The 76-cent figure is the IRS business mileage rate for July 1 through December 31, 2026, used as a cost stand-in, not as a deduction to claim. Those pages change. Confirm them before you set a fee or turn an airport off. This is not tax, insurance, or financial advice. The $80 example states its assumptions and is not a report of any trip I hosted. The DFW article does not print the parking deduction.
